Overview
This item is the upgrade patch that converts IPro to the current version, 30.90. This item is only an upgrade and does function unless a full working copy of IPro is already installed on your computer. Please see IPro Restaurant Inventory & Recipe Software if you are shopping for a new, regular installation of the IPro software.

IPro version 30.90's biggest and most visible improvements are the major changes to the main working windows- they now stretch to use the full size of your desktop. Other important changes are for Vista compatibility. Many other changes were made to improve performance and reliability. New sections have been added to the help documentation that answer many frequently asked questions.
This upgrade is for all IPro versions from 30.00 and later (i.e., 30.7x, 30.8x, etc).
This upgrade does not affect your data or require any changes in the way you use IPro. Just install the upgrade and resume using IPro as you always do, except now you can change the window sizes and see more at once.
This item is downloadable for immediate and free delivery. For fastest processing, this web site automatically and immediately sends download instructions by email if you use a credit card. Orders paid by PayPal are processed manually so your download email may be delayed. COD is not available.
Main Working Windows Can Now Expand
All the of the important IPro windows can now stretch to take advantage of the full size of your computer desktop. As in the example below, pick list grids lengthen to show more rows and widen to show more columns as you stretch the window. Other grids such as the worklist grid below lengthen to show more line items. Similar changes were made to all the major windows. Larger grids mean more information is visible at a time so your work is faster and easier.
To stretch the windows, simply click and drag on the window borders or click on the maximize button in the upper right corner of the window.
You can doubleclick the windows and restore them to their usual size.
Vista Compatibility Changes
Some recent versions of Vista and Windows XP upgrades, especially since January 2008, have made it necessary to make a large number of changes to both the IPro program and the IPro installation instructions. IPro version 30.90 is now able to run under all versions of Vista and XP (versions prior to 30.84 do not). (IPro 30.90 can run on all Windows version from Windows 98 to Vista.)
More Changes
Many changes have also been made to IPro's internal code to increase performance, accuracy and reliability. Though we have many, many hours invested in these changes, and they may not be readily visible to you, they are important nonetheless and will prevent many problems which may otherwise come up.
Installation Downloads and CDs
This upgrade is normally installed by downloading an installation file from the FoodSoftware.com web site. When you purchase this upgrade, you will receive an email with the link to the download page and the necessary password for the upgrade file.
The download file alone is usually sufficient for this purpose and a CD version of the same thing is usually not necessary. You can download and install the upgrade file as many times as you need to. You can make your own backup copy of the download file. If you still want a CD version of the upgrade, it is available for an additional fee plus shipping. You can select the option for the CD in addition to the download when you put this item in the shopping cart.
Upgrade and Support Policies
This upgrade is unnecessary if you already have IPro 30.90.
There are more upgrades planned. Minor upgrades beyond version 30.90 will be free providing you already have 30.90.
Major upgrades will be for a fee. Upgrade prices will be cumulative. For example, the upgrade from 30.90 to 31.00 may be $29.99 if you purchased the 30.90 upgrade, but it may be $59.98 if you did not. (This is only an example and the actual fees may be different.)
The timing and fees for future upgrades have not been determined yet.
If you experience a problem in versions prior to 30.90 that is corrected in version 30.90 or later versions, we will not provide support unless you have upgraded to version 30.90 or later.
