The Labelmate UCAT-1 is an unpowered label underwinder for most label roll sizes and features adjustable speed-proportional braking. Label unwinders are needed to unroll labels for slitting (cutting lengthwise to make smaller labels). Once rolls are printed and rewound, they are mounted on an unwinder to be fed back to a winder, with a slitter positioned between the two. (It is the job of the unwinder and winder to transport the labels through the slitter. Winders are powered to pull rolls through slitters and off unwinders.) Includes a 5-years parts and labor limited warranty.

Overview
The Labelmate UCAT-1 is an unpowered label underwinder for most label roll sizes and features adjustable speed-proportional braking. (Breaking action prevents uncontrolled unwinding.)
Label unwinders are needed to unroll labels for slitting (cutting lengthwise to make smaller labels). Once rolls are printed and rewound, they are mounted on an unwinder to be fed back to a winder, with a slitter positioned between the two. (It is the job of the unwinder and winder to transport the labels through the slitter. Winders are powered to pull rolls through slitters and off unwinders. Unwinders and slitters are not powered.)
