In restaurants, night clubs or movie grills, Table Genies live on the all the tables with buttons usually marked "Server", "Manager" and "Check". But you can program the buttons to send any text message to any pager so they are extremely useful in situations where up to three message and recipient combos are needed. The LRS Push-for-Service Family
Table Genies are part of a lineup of push-for-service transmitters from LRS with one to five programmable buttons or ports for additional external buttons:
- Butler XP: One-button indoor/outdoor transmitter.
- Butler II 1-Button: One-button indoor transmitter with external switch port (for doorbell or magnetic door status switches).
- Table Genie: Three-button indoor transmitter.
- Butler II 5-Button: Five-button indoor transmitter with external switch port.
 LRS transmitters and pagers all work together so you can mix-and-match transmitters and pagers to meet your special needs.
Non-Restaurant Use
The ability to contact someone on-site instantly is vital in any industry. With the Table Genie paging system, you can do it easily. Just press one of the three buttons and it immediately sends a silent page to anyone in your building or your property wearing an LRS text-display pager. Customers can use it to contact staff members when they need help or service. Staff members can use it to contact each other.
Though originally designed for fast-casual restaurant service, Table Genies are also useful in healthcare (place one in each exam or resident room), executive or private dining rooms (place one in each room), hotel service counters or any other situation where up to three types of page messages are needed.
More Features
Table Genies have programmable buttons that send text messages to say which Table Genie called for service (or any custom message). Table Genies are often used in groups for dining room service, with one at each table so the transmitters can send their locations and desired service as text messages that appear on the staffs' pagers. With three buttons they can send combinations of different messages to to different pagers. (I.E., three different messages to one pager, one message to three pagers, etc..)
Automatic Repaging: Table Genies have an advanced automatic repaging feature to help ensure staff response. If the page is not cleared (by pressing a pattern of buttons on the Table Genie), the page can "roll over" to another pager so another server or manager can respond.
Lighted Call Buttons: The three buttons have lights that can stay lit until cleared by the server or, if programmed otherwise, light only for a moment while they are pressed. If they stay lit, they are a subtle but visable signal for service in addition to the pager signal. The server turns the lit buttons off and clears the page by pressing a combination of buttons on the Table Genie.
How to Create a Table Genie Push-for-Service System
The Add to Cart button of this listing allows you to order quantities of individual Table Genie transmitters (with quantity discounts too) either to create new systems or to add to your existing LRS pager system for expansion, replacement or upgrades. To create a complete Table Genie Push-for-Service System, you will need:
- Table Genie transmitters (as many as needed for every table, service counter, guest room, etc. as you need covered)
- Table Genie programming kit with PC software and USB cable. (Table Genies are only connected to PCs while being programmed.) (Only one is required for any number of transmitters.)
- Pagers (text display pagers - as many as needed for every server or manager who needs to respond to the pager calls)
- Optional pager wrist straps (pagers include belt clips but wrist straps are a good way to wear pagers too)
- Optional repeater transmitters (Table Genies have ranges of a few hundred feet in open air but repeaters can increase the range of groups of pagers to a mile or more)

Alphanumeric Manager Pager
 Table Genie transmitters are usually used in combination with LRS alphanumeric pagers (shown, right). Pager text messages may be up to 200 characters long.
